2. Overview

This website is designed to be data-minimal. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. We set only one strictly-necessary functional cookie to remember your language (see "Cookies"). Personal data is processed only where necessary to operate the website and to respond to your enquiries. We do not keep a database of user data.

3. Cookies

This website uses only a single, strictly-necessary cookie:

• NEXT_LOCALE – stores the language you selected so the site is shown in that language on your next visit. It contains only the language code (e.g. "de") and no personal data.

This cookie is essential for the operation of the website (§ 25(2) TDDDG / Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive); no consent is required. We do not use any other cookies, in particular none for analytics or advertising.

4. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When you access the site, technical access data is automatically processed in server log files (e.g. a shortened IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system). This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Contact form

When you use our contact form, we process the details you provide (name, email address and message) in order to answer your enquiry. The message is delivered to our mailbox by email via the service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA). We do not store form data in a database; it exists only as an email in our mailbox.

The legal basis is your consent and/or our legitimate interest in handling your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)

To improve our offering we use Vercel Web Analytics. This measurement is cookie-free and aggregated; no profiles of individual visitors are created and no data is combined across websites. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Map (OpenStreetMap)

On the Contact and Schedule pages we embed a map from OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap; this is technically necessary so the map content can be delivered to your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting our location clearly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

8. Links to social networks

We link to our Facebook page. This is a plain link — no social media plugins are embedded. No data is transferred to the network until you click the link and visit the provider's site, where that provider's own privacy policy applies.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

10. Your rights

Within the limits of the law you have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21).
